I might have started life in the Midwest—complete with those long, sun-drenched hours working on my uncle's cattle farm—but Virginia has long been my true home. These days, when I’m out exploring everything Virginia has to offer, you can bet my husband and our faithful yellow Lab are right next to me. (Seriously, if I’m going somewhere, the dog is coming too!)

For over 15 years, my absolute favorite title was "baseball mom." I spent more weekends than I can count at muddy ballfields, traveling to tournaments, and meeting some of the most amazing families along the way while raising my two incredible boys.
